Second Stage Enrolment Period Extended up to 15September 2010
Second Stage RSBY-CHIS enrolment meant for the beneficiary list that consists of 9.32 lakh families belonging to SC/ST families, fishermen families, Ashraya families, Cashew workers (Pensioners), Agricultural workers, Workers in the Handloom, Beedi, Khadi, Coir, Small Plantations, Families who worked for at least 50 days in the MNREGS, EndoSulfan victims etc. is progressing. An additional list of eligible families belonging to the above categories, but not listed for the second stage enrolment going on at present, is under preparation. Further notice will be issued for their enrolment.

Shri C K Viswanathan, Secretary, Labour Rehabilitation Department receives award for the State of Kerala for “Outstanding performance in the implementation of RSBY through Commitment, Innovation, Initiative and Institutional Building”. Given away by the Hon’ble Union Minister for Labour and Employment Shri Mallikarjun Kharge in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri V S Achuthanandan, Hon’ble Minister of State Shri Harish Rawat and other Hon’ble Ministers of State of Kerala.
